Workshop Report

Consistent with its mandate, the Health Economics Programme (HEP) at the Africa CDC has introduced a flagship initiative to develop a comprehensive continental strategy and framework to guide the process of institutionalizing priority-setting in Africa. Representing the first milestone in this journey, the Africa CDC, through its Health Economics Programme hosted a Member State and Stakeholder Technical Consultation Workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, between 13 - 17 June 2023. This report details the workshop proceedings and participation, and includes discussion of the programme, key contributions and insights derived over the five-day event.
